Branding and Website Design
Mailcoms is a letter franking business based out of Staffordshire. The business has two main focuses – the franking of letters (to the millions), and the sale of franking machines.
Hearts and Minds were approached to refresh the Mailcoms brand, which hasn’t changed at all over the past 10 years. This included a new logo, colour palette, typography, device icons and website. The copy on the website had to be stripped back, and the style emboldened by punchy colours and a simpler, less cluttered design.
The look and feel of the brand assets was to be contemporary, with clean lines and a professional feel. The logo itself is two tone, with a mail mark cantering around communication and mail (to illustrate the name). The typography is modern sans-serif, with differing weights according to the heading type. We also developed a number of GIFs to depict the franking machines at work, as well as to provide animation to the site.
