Mon Dessert is the UK’s first luxury macaron making kit. Bearing in mind the nature of the product, and with a pastry chef for a founder, the brand has classic french patisserie running through its soul. The challenge was to bring this to life with a contemporary twist.
Hearts in Minds were tasked with creating the logo, brand personality and look and feel, and packaging across two SKUs. We developed a classic French style of logo lockup with art deco cues, and placed this against the modern playfulness of bright polkadots fashioned from watercolour macarons. Gold foiling helped to highlight the premium nature of these kits, whilst a hand illustrated instruction manual helped to ensure that the experience of making them was smooth for customers.
Mon Dessert launched in time for Christmas and went straight into being stocked in Fortnum and Masons, alongside several independent cookware shops and boutiques. We are currently working on developing the range further with the founder.
